The Management Committee have reviewed WADSA’s Strategic Plan and its links, together with clear accountability and reporting systems, and are implemented subject to available resources including Government contracts, sponsorship, foundations, self generating and public fundraising efforts. The plans cover a broad range of areas from direct individual support to strategic advocacy models. For the record, in 2007/2008 the Disability Services Commission and the Department of Sport and Recreation provided, through the Commonwealth/State/Territory Disability Services Agreement and Sports Lottery Account respectively, a combined total of 29.1% of our income. We generate the remaining 70.9% of our income through a diverse funding model. This allows us great flexibility in addressing the needs presented to us. We pride ourselves on this model of resource generation and service delivery.
