About the Event

WADSA are excited to be hosting a JUNIOR AND 18+ Aqua Come and Try Day, supporting the Act Belong Commit Mentally Healthy Message.

Learn to Kayak in a safe and fun environment with WADSA, taking in the scenery of the Calm waters of Kent Street Weir. Dry off with some social lawn games and get to know some new friends. Being a part of WADSA network can foster a sense of belonging. It’s all about joining in and connecting with others.

This activity is open to children with a disability, aged 12- 17 years old, 10.00am- 11.15am and 18+ 11.30am- 12.45pm. A support person will be required to stay for the duration of the activity for behavioral and personal care support.

Please note, this is a water-based activity. All participants will be required to wear a life jacket and should have a basic level of water competency.

Support Staff/Family are not required to purchase a ticket to attend to support a participant. please only book for the person participating as tickets are limited.
