Rottnest Island is located just 18 kilometres off the coast of Perth, Western Australia. A popular destination for both locals and tourists, it sits in the Indian Ocean and is easily accessible via a 25-minute ferry ride from the mainland. The island spans around 19 square kilometers, known for its stunning beaches, crystal-clear waters, and unique wildlife, including the famous quokkas. With no cars allowed, visitors explore the island by bike, on foot, or by public transport, enjoying its tranquil atmosphere and diverse landscapes, from rugged cliffs to sandy shores.
