About C.A.N.

WADSA provides a wide range of C.A.N. activities throughout the year. We deliver direct services to people of all ability levels, whilst working collaboratively with other service providers.

We aim to give people the skills and independence to actively participate in C.A.N. activities like camping, abseiling, archery, bush cooking, fishing and beachcombing.

Activities are delivered by WADSA in partnership with other organisations.

Come-and-Try Days

WADSA provides a number of Come-and-Try C.A.N. activities throughout the year. It’s a great way to get outdoors, explore nature and have an adventure.

Activities are delivered in a number of locations across WA and include:

  • Geocaching
  • Archery
  • Orienteering
  • Bush Cooking
  • Kayaking
  • Stand Up Paddle Boarding
  • Raft Building
  • Tracking and Trekking

Loan Equipment

WADSA has a range of C.A.N. loan packs available to both groups and individuals.

The packs allow people to borrow some gear and head off to explore.

Loan packs include modified and adaptive equipment to enable people of all abilities to get involved in C.A.N.
