Fishing with Mates Xperience
This year, we’re heading south to explore new fishing spots. This Xperience is all about fishing, fun and spending time with new and old friends. We’ll visit a range of great spots, giving everyone the chance to cast a line and hopefully land a big one.
About Event
We will be fishing from multiple beach locations in the south west, and a boat trip will be part of our fishing Xperience. Between fishing, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy some down time with friends, learn how to set up a fishing rod and enjoy the beautiful southwest coastline. You’ll have time to improve your skills, try different types of fishing, and learn new techniques. Whether you’re experienced or still learning, there’s something for everyone.
Outcomes
How will this Xperience contribute towards my goals.
Form friendships with peers and develop positive relationships.
- Participants will attend Fishing with mates Xperience with 14-20 other participants, where we will participate in activities as a group providing opportunity’s to meet new people, and to develop previously established friendships, with support workers facilitating group activity’s and positive interaction.
Manage my personal hygiene and daily routines with less support.
- Staff will support participants to manage their personal hygiene and daily routines based on their abilities, participants will be encouraged to do as much as is reasonably possible themselves.
