About Event
Enjoy a getaway to the southwest, set along the calm shores of Geographe Bay, we will be based in Busselton and explore the South West’s food and wine region.
We will spend time preparing our own meals and desserts, sharing hands-on cooking experiences in a welcoming environment. We’ll explore local produce and the tastes of the Margaret River region. Visits to selected venues will give you the opportunity to sample a range of local food and beverages.
This experience brings together good company, fresh local flavours, and the laid back atmosphere of Busselton for an unforgettable Xperience in the beautiful southwest.
Outcomes
How will this Xperience contribute towards my goals.
Increased Participation in community and social activities;
- Group trips to local venues for meals and tastings
- We will be participating in groups to prepare food and treats together, where participants are encouraged to get involved as much as they can.
Form friendships with peers and develop positive relationships;
- Participants will attend Tasting trail Xperience with 14-20 other participants, where we will participate in activities as a group providing opportunity’s to meet new people, and to develop previously established friendships, with support workers facilitating group activity’s and positive interaction.

Busselton is a relaxed coastal town known for its calm beaches, clear waters and the iconic Busselton Jetty stretching into Geographe Bay. The area around Mandalay Holiday Resort offers easy access to the beach, peaceful walking paths and is just a short drive from local brewery’s, cafés and attractions throughout the South West.
