Circus Magic, Coastal Chills & Fringe Festival Fun!

We started our week down on the South Perth foreshore. After a short walk along the river, we watched the talented duo Zap circus wow us with their strength, skills, impressive hoola hoop abilities, and humor. They were talented, fun and approachable after the show. A great way to start the week.

Day 2

Day 2 took us to Hillary’s Boat Harbour for some chilling on the beach, some ball sports, and a walk to Grill’d for lunch. Feeling inspired after watching Zap Circus the previous evening, we went back to camp and got to show off some moves of our own when we all learnt a knew
hip hop routine – from the JETS crew. After a shower and change we headed into the city to catch some more of Fringe. At the Pleasure Garden we watched Spy hard circus and were treated to some impressive strength and acrobatics. We finished our evening with some
silent disco, sword swallowing, fire and ice-cream.

Day 3

Some of us spent the morning making jewellery, while those of us that didn’t fancy getting creative took a walk along the coast and spent some time chilling at the beach.

Our last night of camp was spent at SciTech’s “Ah rated” show, learning about science, and the wonders of liquid nitrogen. We then finished our evening with a delicious meal and drink at the Hyde Park hotel.

” Thomas loves the Xperience, the staff are very supportive and
he feels very confident with the WADSA staff being there for him.
He’s learning life skills, which are so important for his
development and being more independent in the future”

Roy Ruitenga (parent)

A massive thank you to everyone involved – participants, staff, and volunteers – for making this such a memorable Xperience.
