This year we ventured south for our outdoor adventure Xperience, we stayed at the beautiful Myalup Pines cottages, it was a peaceful bush setting and provided a great base for us to get outdoors and explore the area.
This was an action-packed Xperience where we got to see and do lots on both land and water. On arrival we set up then drove down to Myalup beach for a beautiful evening walk. Saturday started with a morning on the water kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding at Leschenault Estuary, while those of us waiting for a turn or taking a break from the water got involved in some cricket on the foreshore. Saturday afternoon, we enjoyed lunch out at the Old Coast Brewery followed by mini golf onsite. It was then back to Myalup pines for some downtime, a bike ride or to help prepare our barbecue dinner.
Sunday took us to Lake Brockman for a beautiful hike along the lake taking in some stunning views, we followed that up with some fishing (no luck there unfortunately) and a small group braved the water for a swim. Sunday afternoon was a change of pace and we all got to whack some golf balls down the driving range at Harvey Golf club, then for those that wanted to have a go, we ventured onto the course to play a couple of holes. We ended the day at Burgan Brewery with a delicious meal and some corn hole on the lawn.
