About us

Besides the Bowl Ability program and requested Come & Try’s we also run a yearly State All Abilities Championships for Deaf, Intellectual, Physical and Vision Impaired Bowlers. We manage the state Disability Side that plays at the National Multi-bowl Annual Event, and Denise McMillan is the Event Coordinator for the ‘Bowling Arm’ players who compete at State Bowling Arm Championships and the State Sand groper Side who compete in the National Bowling Arm Sides Championships. Bowling Arm players have some form of physical ailment that will not allow them to play the sport of bowls in the traditional manner of bending, crouching and lunging – the arm is an artificial device that allows these players to bowl from an ‘upright’ position and continue to play the game they love!
