About us

Challenger Baseball is for anyone with neurological, physical, and/or intellectual disability. The program aims to provide an opportunity to benefit from the enjoyment of baseball and the participation in a team sport, in an environment structured to their abilities.
All players bat and field in every inning, no one sits off. Teams consist of 8 – 10 players and each player has a buddy to assist them throughout the game with batting and fielding. No scores are kept; players receive tossed balls from coach or hit off a tee when batting. There are no outs, and each player moves around one base at a time until back to home plate.
Junior Challenger is played at Wanneroo Giants Baseball Club on Saturday mornings from 8.30am to 9.30am. The season runs from mid-October to March with a break over the school Christmas holidays, fees are $107 for the season.
