About us

The Vision Impaired and Blind Bowlers of Western Australia Inc. (VIBBWA) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to assisting totally blind and vision impaired people in participating in lawn bowls. For every vision impaired person there is a sighted volunteer, Director, who acts as their eyes, assisting them both on and off the green. The degree of assistance is dependent on the degree of vision impairment.

The vision impaired bowlers are divided into four categories and they participate in Club, State, National and International competitions.

Come and learn the basics of the game in a friendly atmosphere. For those with a competitive flair, there is an annual calendar of events including National and International competitions.

Location: Perth and Tattersals Bowling Club, Plain Street East Perth
Time: Wednesday from 9:30 – 11:30am
