About us
WA Community Cricket offers a pathway for people with disability to play cricket at a club and level that suits them. All offerings are flexible and clubs are willing to work with individuals to ensure their needs are met.
Integrated Woolworths Cricket Blast (StarBlast) – The Woolworths Cricket Blast Program is the entry level program in the Australian Cricket Pathway. With a focus on fun, movement, skill development and small sided games, it is the perfect starting point for any child. An Integrated Program provides the opportunity for people with disability to be part of a group within the Cricket Blast program, playing alongside all the other Blasters and receiving the same benefits like the awesome pack!
Youth Integrated Cricket League (YICL) – The YICL is a modified format of junior cricket that allows players to experience all the fun of cricket in a stress free environment. Every player gets equal opportunities to bat and bowl, while modifications to the game can be made to suit individuals. Players are members of their chosen club and are included in all club activities. They train weekly alongside other teams at the club and play every 3 weeks, meaning players are able to progress to other grades at their club.
