Our days were spent exploring and taking in the sights, tastes and beauty of the southwest. Our afternoons and evenings were spent enjoying the pool, waterslide, facilities and close proximity to the beach at our beautiful Mandalay resort accommodation. We explored a lot of the Busselton and Margaret River regions.
Day two highlights included visits to the Chocolate factory and short tour, coffees and hot chocolates at the white elephant café with stunning ocean views. Lunch was at CB brewing followed by hitting golf balls on their driving range.
On Day Three we went looking for whales at two stunning lookouts, Point Piquet and Sugar Loaf Rock. Then it was off to wow illusions to explore some strange mirrors and optical illusions, lunch was at origin markets with some time to browse the market stalls after.
Day four was home time, with those of us travelling back to Perth stopping in at the crooked carrot for coffee and morning tea which was a great way to finish the Xperience.
Activities completed:
- Margret river chocolate factory visit and Tour
- Golf driving range
- Wow Illusion
- Whale watching
