That’s a wrap on the Tasting Trail – July 2025!
What an adventure it’s been! Check out some of the highlights from our delicious journey:

BERRY FARM, YAHAVA, CANDY COW & SETTLERS

We kicked things off at the charming Berry Farm, enjoying a cosy morning tea of fresh scones, jam, and cream. Then came the jam tasting – house-made and absolutely delicious!

Next stop: Yahava Koffeeworks. We dove into the world of coffee, learning about different brewing styles. Iced coffee stole the show as the crowd favourite!

And who could forget the vibrant, sweet-smelling world of the Candy Cow? The colourful displays and inviting setup were a total hit with everyone – a real sensory treat!

ORIGINS & CHOCOLATE ADVENTURES

We split into three of our homes for a sweet, hands-on chocolate session! Creativity was on full display as everyone designed their own chocolates using fun-shaped moulds, whipped up diabetic-friendly rocky road (yes, that’s a thing!), and baked gluten- and dairy-free cookies. Yummo!

We made sure to cover all dietary needs in this experience, and it was definitely one of the highlights. From clouds of flour flying in the cookie kitchen to sticky fingers coated in melted chocolate – smiles were everywhere!

To finish, we all came together to share our creations, chat about our processes, and vote on our favourites. The “Design a Chocolate” activity won top marks – creative, fun, and tasty!
Hot on its heels, with a 9/10 rating, was our DIY pizza-making session with the talented volunteer chef, Greg.

“Everyone got hands-on, crafting their own tasty pizzas
from a generous selection of toppings and helping
keep the long line of creations moving into the pizza oven.
A true team effort and a mouthwatering one at that!”

Lee D’Rozario, Xperience Officer

ORIGINS MARKET & SHELTER BREWING CO.

Even though the weather surprised us with a “pop-up swimming pool” at the resort (thanks, rain!), some of the crew still made it to Origins Market to tick it off the list.

We wrapped up with a mouthwatering meal at Shelter Brewing, right on the jetty. Unfortunately, the Jetty Train had to be cancelled due to the forecast, but safety first!

Thank you all for your flexibility and good vibes despite the weather changes – we truly appreciate it!

Until next time – thanks for making this Tasting Trail one to remember!
