WADSA are excited to announce WASA has joined as our newest Member Organisation!
WA Strong Abilities Inc (WASA) has joined WADSA, supporting their goal of adapting Strongman to be accessible for people of all abilities.

Strongman is not your average weightlifting – it’s a competitive lifting sport, that tests physical and mental strength and endurance through exercises using weights that aren’t just bars and dumbbells – they’re tyres, sandbags, or even whole cars. Strongman athletes carry, throw and hold heavy things of all shapes and sizes – with athletes with disabilities competing in standing or seated events.

“At WASA, we do what we do to prove what I’ve always known – people with disabilities are strong, capable, and absolutely belong in strength sports, where they can be recognised for their power, not their challenges.”

Cass Stacey – Cofounder and  Coach

WASA now join our growing network of Members, who are empowering people with disabilities through inclusive sport and recreation delivery that fosters community, participation, and healthy competition.
