From the 16-18th June WADSA staff visited Mt. Barker, Albany and Katanning, reaching over 120 participants, support staff, coordinators, service providers and families. Delivering a variety of inclusive and adaptive activities including multisport at Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre (ALAC), Ready Set Rec at Albany Secondary Education Support Centre (ASESC), Ten Pin Bowling at Wild West Bowling and Archery at Katanning Recreation Centre.
We continued to develop our partnership with Mt. Barker Recreation Centre and formed new connection with Albany Pickleball Club, providing support to develop accessible and inclusive sport and recreation.
With support from the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport (DCITS), Healthway and Telethon, WADSA can broaden our reach to regional communities and break down barriers to participation.
